Gu, Ph.D.
I received my Ph.D in Operations Management from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with a minor in Econometrics. I have held academic positions with Georgia State University and Emory University.
My research interests center around closed-loop supply chain, green product design. My most recent work focus on integrating consumers’ green preference into product design stage, and reevaluate consumer behavior in the context of green consumerism and its environmental impact.
My teaching interests include operations management, business analytics, and data-driven decision making. Recently, I have also piloted an interactive online content delivery mechanism that utilizes interactions to engage and motivate students with online learning activities.
I live in and love Atlanta.
